Unhappy Anniversary
It has been exactly one year since Scott Walker took office as governor of Wisconsin. What a sad anniversary, indeed. I hope people take this opportunity to send him an Unhappy Anniversary card, and remind him that the one thing we have to look forward to in 2012 is his RECALL.
My 2011 Christmas Card
It should come as no surprise that this year’s card is designed around the Wisconsin protests concerning our out-of-control Governor Scott Walker. Even Santa knows that the best gift for the state in 2012 will be a RECALL election and a new governor.
If I were anywhere near him, I’d scream too.
The Rust Belt Ride (a poster I did for my friend Jen Clausen’s show)
My friend, the über-talented artist Jen Clausen, is having a two-day show of the incredible paintings she produced during her bicycle/painting trip of the “Rust Belt”, the former manufacturing powerhouse centered around the Great Lakes and the Ohio River…now a site of crippling, economic decline. Her art, and her drive to paint these ON-SITE is truly remarkable.
If you are anywhere NEAR Madison on Dec. 9 and 10, I urge you to see this show. I plan on going early. The paintings look amazing.
